May brings big news for Soulstice Sound

Interesting things keep connecting me (and Soulstice Sound) to the sun, moon, stars, and pyramids.  I was born on the Summer Solstice, met my wife on the spring equinox, and now on on May 20, the cusp of Taurus & Gemini, it will be our 6th anniversary. Also on May 20, there will be a solar eclipse that will be viewable over northern Nevada! With all these things to think about, I find it hard not to feel strangely connected to something deeper. Something bigger than myself, my company, and my life.  Over the past several years, I have found myself becoming more and more connected to like minded people, sharing love, life, and business with long time friends as well as many new friends.   For me, a recent realization is this.  Life is experience, sharing with others is the purpose.

Now for the news.

I'm proud to announce Soulstice Sound will be doing sound for Symbiosis Events' Pyramid Eclipse gathering May 17-20 at Pyramid Lake, Nevada.  I have teamed up with my client, Sonic Solutions, to provide all Meyer Sound for the Circus Stage (Also known late night as the Moon Stage).  I am so excited to be able to share my passion for sound and music with all those that come to share the experience.

See you all out there,

Cooper

Winter Solstice is upon us!

As the Winter Solstice arrives, I've been reminded of a couple of things.  One is that I started going forward with Soulstice Sound on the winter solstice last year.  Woot!  One year down, two to go till my rental rig is paid off!  Second, I was born on the summer solstice.  Third, Sarah and I met on the spring equinox. This brings me to number 4.  Since the dawn of civilization, mankind has understood the solstice to be of the utmost importance.  Nowadays, it's just another day that comes and goes with little or no regard.  I'm putting a little of this important day into every show, stuffing your ears with my heart, soul, and passion for music, and the importance sound quality in regards to the whole event experience.

Thank you to all those who have noticed and mentioned something to me in passing.  Each time it has been a constant reminder that we're all in this together, and for our scene to grow and continue to berth these amazing artists, we all have to pour a little of our soul out on the table.  With that, drink it in, dance it out, do more things, and let your soul out!
